About
Mfumo Party

Mfumo means system. We believe the struggles facing our communities are not because of lack of effort — but because the system is not working for the people. We are here to change that.

We, the citizen members of the Republic of South Africa, come together with a shared vision of establishing a political party called Mfumo Political Party (MPP). Our mission is to build a better system and prosperous society for all South Africans.

Recognizing the challenges facing our nation, we believe that through unity, transparency, and active participation, we can create a future where every South African has an equal opportunity to thrive.

By this Constitution, we commit to:

Respecting and upholding the Constitution and legislation of the Republic of South Africa.

Ensuring that the government serves the people with accountability, transparency, and progress.

Inviting all South Africans to join us in our mission to build a stronger, united, and prosperous nation where every citizen has a voice.

"Mfumo is more than a political movement — it is a call for people to stand together, take ownership, and build a system that finally works for everyone."

— Mfumo Political Party Constitution, 2026

Our Commitment

What Mfumo Stands For

Six core pillars that guide every decision, every campaign, and every interaction with citizens across the City of Johannesburg.

Accountability & Transparency

Every rand spent, every decision made, and every promise given will be publicly reported — ward by ward, region by region.

Citizen Participation

Government must involve the people it serves. Mfumo ensures residents have a real voice in every decision that affects their community.

Real Service Delivery

Not promises — action. Water, electricity, roads, housing, and safety: we track and demand delivery across all 135 CoJ wards.

Honest Leadership

Leadership that is close to the people, honest about challenges, and accountable for results. No above-the-law behaviour.

Community-First Governance

Every policy, every budget, and every campaign starts with listening to the community — not with party political interests.

Youth & Employment

Young people are the future. Mfumo commits to youth employment programs, skills development, and safe spaces in every ward.
